Sometimes planks get Splintered--even at Conventions

photo by Nancy Dowd / flickr

Two Pastors at this week's Republican Convention declared Mr. Trump God's candidate for this fall's election. Many Evangelicals have forgotten their values by standing firm for Mr. Trump as President. Supporting Mr. Donald Trump is everyone's right. But dragging God into the mix is a dangerous thing. If he doesn't get elected does it mean God loses? Does it mean that Lucifer triumphs as Dr. Carson so pathetically said? Old-time Baptists believed in the separation of church and state and they made sure this idea was stitched strongly into our Bill of Rights. Read it for yourself.

The following clip from Comedy Central interviewing one Pastor's complete immersion in Donald Trump's candidacy is worth watching. I recommend. With sadness.
