As everyone knows, email is a blessing and curse. Curse because the emails you don't want keep piling up. Blessing in that every once in a while you get a message from a friend that lifts you up or moves you greatly. One of my new email coharts is JL Strickland. We've never met but this Alabama man can write. It comes from the heart. I've never met him but we both grew up in cotton mill communities and that is a strong tie that binds. This particular piece has been printed in the Anniston Star and the Mobile Press-Register. Thanks JL.
